Welcome to the chatrooms...Go right ahead and login to the chatrooms if you've been here before. If this is your first visit, you can enter two different kinds of chatrooms from this page. The one at the top of this page is the irc bondage channel chat, which you can enter directly from this page, using the directions above. The other rooms are available in a new window by clicking the "Open Chat Window" link below. NOTES FOR FIRST TIME VISITORS...Browser RequirementsTo use the chatrooms here you'll need to use recent versions of Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer (Safari works fine too). Please be sure you're using the complete versions of these two browsers. For example, if you're an AOL user you'll have a built-in browser that's a stripped and crippled version of what you really need. Some other ISPs which provide browser software (Earthlink, MSN, and others) also "customize" it in ways that aren't always good for the user. So if you're not already using a complete version of Navigator or Explorer please download a free copy at one of these links...
Click to download Netscape Navigator
Additional SuggestionsTo get the very best performance from your web browser, both in the chatrooms and everywhere on our site, please be sure that you have Javascript turned on. If you download a new copy of one of the recommended browsers above it will be turned on by default. Also, the chatroom functions do use cookies to remember who you are, so please turn cookies on if you want your various preferences to be saved for you. Java, HTML or Plug-inYou can use these chatrooms using either the Java or HTML clients (the irc chat above requires Java), or you can download the "iChat" plug-in for more features. If your computer is behind a firewall, use the HTML client. The plug-in is a little tricky to get installed and configured properly, but makes for a much better interface. If you want to download the iChat plug-in you'll have an opportunity to get it during the registration process on the next pages. Registration Notes
When you click the "Main Chat Entrance" graphic below, you'll open a new window where you can then click the "create your account" link. Then you'll be asked to create a username and password, and to enter your email address, your year of birth, your gender, and your sexual orientation. Only your username and gender will be available to other chat users, everything else is kept confidential. When picking a username, remember that with around 200,000 registered users most common names will be unavailable by now. A username needs to be a single word and you can't include and spaces or symbols ($%&@#). Since the username is how you'll be known in the chatrooms, often people will take their name (or one they want to be known by here) and add their state, gender or age to create a more unique username (examples: WilliamNY, JaneF23, or TommyBoyM21TX). For your password you'll be able to use any word between 3 and 20 characters long. It can be composed of both numbers and letters but it cannot contain spaces and cannot be the same as your username.
